Limitations are limitations, whether wealth-related or not. Nonetheless, the biggest limitations of wealth are taking things for granted and not enjoying the best things in life.
I think J.P. Morgan lived the adage that a lot is expected from those who have the means. He did it so visibly that he set a standard which encourages others from all stations in life to give.
For sheer pleasure it’s tough to beat my current gig making fine wines and luxury resorts, but for something more meaningful I wouldn’t mind a chance to shake up the U.N. (so long as I could have weekends off and take long summer vacations with my family).
